How to select a Garage Door

Most polystyrene insulated door can be thicker but have a lower R-Value than polyurethane. If you're searching for thermal efficiency as well as a high R-Value, you shouldn't be fooled by the depth of the doorway! A polyurethane Garage Door might look thinner but really offers a much greater insulation R-value. That's on account of how the insulating material expands through the production process to tightly fill the cavity between the two steel panels as it bonds to the skins of the door. Not only does this make the door better insulated, additionally, it makes the door incredibly powerful and helps reduce noise whilst the door works. How long your door will last, what sort of punishment it can take, or even how much annual maintenance it's going to need is strongly influenced by the stuff used to make the door.
