Almost anything can go awry with your roofer in some unspecified time in the future. And if you do, however, need to have roof work done, then it's much better to tackle a tiny problem before it turns into a serious one. If your roof leaks, wait until the weather passes to examine it. It is impossible to quickly fix a leak problem, and you are putting yourself in danger. When your roof has dried, you can safely fix any leak you find. Make sure that you replace your shingles when they become worn. While you may prefer to put the work off, this will most likely result in greater damages. Fixing shingles immediately will actually save you bigger bucks down the line. Plus there will be a lot less headache. If you maintain your roof, it'll last you a long time. When you must climb on the roof, wear some rubber boots. Even in dry conditions you will reduce the chance of slipping if you wear the right kind of boots. Do not put yourself in dangerous positions when on the roof.
